The company's main competitive advantage is production scale and operational efficiency.
"Automated's spot transport sourcing module integrated with appointment scheduling provides us with unprecedented operational and costs efficiency in our supply chain and contributes to our production scalability. We reduced our logistics backoffice staff to 25% while enjoying improvements in carrier relations and customers' supply chain visibility and satisfaction."
RICARDO PIRES MIRANDA DE SOUZA, SUPPLY CHAIN LOGISTICS SOURCING
> No visibility on in/outbound shipments causing inefficiencies in our warehouses
> Too high supply chain admin spend
> Sub-optimal spot transport sourcing process; so we needed to rely more on fixed transport service contracts at higher rates
> We were not always sure we used the best priced carrier for each lane or shipment
> Our supply chain organization couldn't effectively support our scalable production
> No statistics on OTD performance vs. transport rates
Spot + slot combination enabling full automation from transport sourcing through planning to execution.
